Rectory, now house. Mid C18, probably built and designed by John Phillips, extended late C18, C19 and C20 alterations. Red brick with flared headers in Flemish bond to plinth. Grey brick with red brick dressings to 5 bays to centre and left; red brick with flared headers in Flemish bond to right 2 bays. Old plain-tile hipped roof. 3-storey; 7-window range. 6-panel door with painted wood Gibbs surround with triangular pediment. 12-pane unhorned sashes to ground and first floors. Moulded brick band between first and second floors. 6-pane unhorned sashes to second floor. Angled bays to left and right returns. Rear: 3-storey, 7-window range. Red brick with flared headers in Flemish bond. Sash door to centre with flat hood. 12-pane unhorned sashes to ground and first floors. Flat brick band between first and second floor. 6-pane unhorned sash windows to second floor. Interior: dog-leg staircase to rear left from ground to second flours, with baluster balustrade. Painted wood doorcases to some ground floor rooms. Most fireplaces are C20 replacements, in C18 style. History: John Phillips (1709-75) was lay rector of Culham and a master builder in London.
