Description

Durocina is a house located on Dorchester High Street, likely built in the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features rendered walls, which are probably timber framed, and has an old plain-tile roof with brick ridge stacks. The house follows a two-unit lobby-entry plan and stands two storeys tall. The front has three windows and includes a six-panel door set within a late 18th-century pilastered doorcase, flanked by bow windows with tripartite sashes. On the first floor, there are two 16-pane sash windows and a third window above a segmental-arched carriage entrance to the right, which connects with No. 35. A large central clustered stack is also present. The interior has not been inspected.
