Description

The Nook is a late medieval shop and dwelling, largely remodelled in the early 18th century. It was originally one of a row of three medieval tenements that were raised and altered during the 18th century. The building is timber-framed and rendered, with an old plain-tile roof and a brick ridge stack. It has a single-unit plan with a rear wing. The front elevation features an 18th or 19th-century small-pane shop window, an entrance to the left, and a 16-pane sash window at the first floor. The roof has a central ridge stack. The interior has not been inspected.
