Description

This is a 17th-century house, later divided into two cottages, located on the west side of Nettledbed, Watlington Street. The building incorporates timber framing with brick infill in the centre, with red brick to the left and right sides. It has a plain tile roof and a brick stack. The original plan likely followed a lobby-entry design. The house has one storey and an attic, with a four-window front. A glazed door was added to the left of the centre in the 20th century, and a plank door is situated to the right. Four 20th-century casement windows are present on the ground floor, along with two dormers. The roof is half-hipped, featuring a central ridge stack. The interior has not been inspected. 20th-century extensions have been added to the left and right of the original building.
