Description

This chest tomb, dedicated to Thomas Grantham, dates from around 1781 and is located approximately 5 meters west of the tower of the Church of St. Helen. It is made of stone and has a rectangular shape. Each face features a rectangular inscribed panel, flanked by recessed panelled strips. The tomb is topped with a concave moulding and a concave sided pyramidal top, which is adorned with carved wreaths on the sides and fluted finials.
