Description
Upper Grange is a house dating from the early 17th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The ground floor is constructed of red brick, while the first floor features close studding with 19th-century brick infill. The roof is a double depth design covered with plain tiles, and there is a large brick chimney stack on the right side. The house has a double-depth plan and is two stories high with a three-window range. A 20th-century sash door is located on the left, and to the right is a 20th-century four-light casement window. The first floor has three eight-pane horned sash windows from the 20th century. Inside, it is reported that there is a 17th-century panelled hall and staircase.
