Description
This is a group of 29 headstones located to the south of the Church of St. Giles. Four of the headstones are positioned west of the path leading to the Manor House gate, while the remaining 25 are arranged in five rows to the east of it. The headstones date from the 17th century and early 18th century and are made of limestone. The earlier stones feature skull-and-scroll heads or similar outlines, with two dating from 1666 displaying segmental heads with scrolled ends. The later stones exhibit scrolls and angel-heads in relief. These headstones are grouped between the main path and the churchyard wall.
