Description

No. 2 Church Road is a small cottage dating from the early 19th century. The front is constructed of Flemish bond brick with flared headers, while the sides and rear feature light timber framing with brick infill. It has a hipped roof covered in old tiles and an external brick stack at one end. The cottage has a one-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a symmetrical two-window arrangement. There is a 20th-century weatherboarded porch, and segmental arches are present over a two-light casement window to the left of the porch, along with early 19th-century two-light casements on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
