Description
The Old Coach House is a coach house that has been converted into a house, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of flint rubble with brick dressings and features a gabled old tile roof, with brick ridges and 20th-century internal stacks. The building has an L-plan layout with a front right wing and consists of one storey and an attic, arranged in a two-bay range.
The left carriageway has an elliptical arch and an inserted 20th-century window. There is a segmental brick arch above a 20th-century casement window in the gable wall of the right wing, which also includes a 20th-century door and porch on the left side. The eaves are dentilled brick. To the right, there is an early 19th-century outshut made of flint rubble. The rear of the building has 20th-century extensions. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
