Description

This barn, approximately 40 metres north of New Inn Farmhouse, dates to the early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with squared quoins and has a corrugated-asbestos roof. The barn's original 5-bay plan has been extended to 8 bays. Full-height doors are located in the third and sixth bays, with a 5-row dovecote situated between them. Ventilation slits and holes are present across the facade. The interior of the original 5-bay section is lined with squared masonry and features butt-purlin roofs with raking struts to the trusses.
