Description
Manor Farmhouse, now a house, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is built of limestone rubble with squared quoins and timber lintels, topped by a plain-tile roof with brick stacks. The building has a two-unit plan that has been extended to three units and stands two storeys high with attics. The front has four windows, featuring 12- and 16-pane sashes on the ground and first floors of each unit, with a four-panel door located to the right of centre. There is a narrower sash above the door, likely a later addition. To the right of the door, there is a straight joint and a small sash in what was once a doorway. The stacks are positioned to the left of centre and at the right gable. The rear of the house includes two roof dormers and a wide casement window. The right bay is slightly later in construction. A single-storey rubble range extends forward to the left and connects with 19th-century iron railings on a low brick wall that runs along the front of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
