Description
House at 73 Southend, Garsington, dates from the 17th to 18th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble with dressed quoins and timber lintels, topped with a thatched roof featuring a brick ridge stack. The house has a two-unit baffle entry plan and is one storey plus attics. The front door is flanked by three-light wooden casements, and there are three-light dormers above, along with a two-light dormer in the center. The roof has a half-hip to the right and a central stack. The left gable appears to be rendered and may be timber-framed, and it includes a 19th or 20th-century lean-to extension. The interior has not been inspected.
