Description
Manor Farm Cottage is a house that likely dates back to the early 17th century. It is built from coursed limestone rubble with squared quoins and features a thatched roof with a brick ridge stack. The cottage has a three-unit baffle-entry plan and is one storey high with attics. The entrance door has a heavy chamfered frame and is flanked by three-light wooden casements, along with small three-light dormers, all of which (except for the ground floor right) have early chamfered mullions. To the left, there is a further small two-light casement. At the rear, there is a stair window located behind the stack and early casements. The half-hipped gable to the right is timber-framed with brick infill, featuring one panel of herringbone, and includes an owl-hole. There is a 20th-century rear extension on the left. The interior has not been inspected.
