Description
Swyncombe Park features walls and attached buildings that enclose kitchen gardens located approximately 50 meters west of Swyncombe House. These structures date from the 18th century and mainly the early 19th century. They are constructed from flint rubble with brick crossbanding and English bond brick, and include round-arched doorways. At the northeast corner, there is a Gothick building made of Flemish bond brick with a Welsh slate roof. This building has a canted end with ogee arches over a plank door and flanking Gothick two-light leaded casements that have stained glass heads. Approximately 10 meters to the west, there is a two-storey store and a lean-to gardener's bothy. To the southeast, a rustic summerhouse features a timber verandah and a decorative tile roof adorned with heraldic finials.
