Description

Huntercombe Place House is a house built around 1910 by Oswald Milne, designed in the Arts and Crafts style. It features red brick construction with timber framing and brick infill on the crosswing roof gable, topped with an old plain-tile complex roof and various elaborate brick stacks. The house has a complex plan, is two storeys tall with an attic, and has an eight-window range.

The entrance includes a panelled door with a four-centred arched surround, located at an angled two-storey bay to the left of the centre. There is another two-storey angled bay to the right of the centre, and projecting cross-wings on both sides. All openings have brick mullion and transom or cross windows. The house has cross-gables on the left and right sides, and a plain brick parapet at the eaves centre. Gabled dormers are present on the roof.

Inside, there is a panelled former dining room on the ground floor to the right, and the hall ceiling features plasterwork by the Bromsgrove Guild. The sitting room, which is now a lecture room, is located at the rear left on the ground floor and has oak plain panelling with a carved dado rail. The property also includes attached red brick forecourt walls.
