Description
Park Corner Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse located in Swyncombe. It is constructed of flint rubble with brick quoins and dressings, and has an old tile roof with brick stacks. The building follows a double-depth plan and stands two storeys and an attic, with a three-window front. A 20th-century flat hood shelters the entrance door. The windows are largely late 19th-century tripartite sashes, with a blind window on the first floor flanked by 20th-century casements. A raised brick plinth and brick bands mark the storeys and eaves. Two gabled roof dormers are present. The roof is hipped, forming an “M” shape to the rear, and features ridge and rear lateral stacks. Inside, the original 18th-century doors remain. The dog-leg staircase on the right has turned balusters on a closed string.
