Description

The gatepiers and gates located on the main drive approximately 170 meters west of Thame Park House are likely from the early 19th century, with the piers raised in the mid-19th century and 18th-century gates incorporated. There are four ashlar stone piers featuring moulded bases and tops, which create a central carriageway flanked by pedestrian pathways. The piers support mid-19th-century stone heraldic beasts, while the gates to both the carriageway and pedestrian ways are made of wrought iron from the 18th century.
