Description
Court Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a plain-tile roof with brick stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys high, plus attics. The front elevation has three windows and a door located to the right of the centre, flanked by 16-pane sash windows. On the first floor, shorter sashes are positioned beside a 9-pane sash window, and there are two gabled roof dormers. The left gable wall includes an added brick-quoined chimney projection. The right gable wall features a two-storey canted bay window with sash windows, which connects to a two-storey rear wing that has a further two-storey weatherboarded bay window with casement windows. There is a brick stack at the junction of the ranges and outshuts at the rear of both ranges. To the right and rear, there are 18th and 19th-century rubble and brick service wings. Inside, the rear wing has a butt-purlin roof.
