Description
Thatch Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of flint rubble with brick quoins, a band, and dressings, while the left side wall is made of brick. The cottage features a thatch roof and brick stacks. It has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. There are segmental brick arches over a plank door and late 19th to early 20th century two-light iron casements, along with horizontal sliding sashes in the half dormers. The roof is half-hipped and gabled, with an end stack on the left. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
