Description

The Lilacs is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed clunch rubble and features a Welsh-slate roof with brick stacks. The layout is likely a central-stair plan, and the building stands two storeys high with attics. The front facade has three windows and includes a six-panel door with a flat canopy supported by shaped brackets. Above the door is a 12-pane sash window, flanked by two 16-pane sashes. The ground floor openings are topped with segmental arches, and the arrangement is slightly off-center to the right. The right gable wall, which faces the road, has sash windows on both the ground floor and in the gable. The roof is half-hipped and has a lateral stack at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
