Description
Quaker Lanes is a house that likely dates from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed of rendered clunch rubble with some timber framing and features an old plain-tile roof with brick gable stacks. The building has a T-shaped plan and is two storeys high. The symmetrical front has three windows and is rendered, with a brick dentil eaves course. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door beneath a 16-pane sash window, flanked by three-light casements. At the rear, there is a central timber-framed wing, which is mostly concealed by later extensions, and this wing is likely from the 17th century or earlier, with its gable wall covered in rubble. The interior has not been inspected.
