Description

Little Thatchings is a small house, possibly dating from the 17th century. It is constructed from coursed squared clunch rubble with a thatched roof and brick gable stacks. The house has a two-unit plan with a rear outshut. It has one storey and attics. The front elevation features small, irregular casements and blocked openings, the majority of which have brick segmental arches. A tiny central stair window is also present, along with a small dormer on the left side. A large projecting stone chimney is located on the left gable wall, now partially obscured by a 20th-century extension. A further stack sits on the right gable wall, positioned beside segmental-arched casements. The interior has not been inspected.
