Description
Sescut Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse, with possible earlier elements. It is constructed from limestone rubble and features timber lintels, topped with a concrete plain-tile roof and brick stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and consists of two storeys plus attics. The main range has two bays with two- and three-light casements and a gabled roof dormer on the left. A 20th-century gabled extension partially obscures this range, which is accompanied on the right by a lower single-unit range. The rear wing, located to the right, includes additional casements and extensive outshuts. Inside, there is an open fireplace. The site is also notable as the location of the manorial watermill.
