Description
The Three Horseshoes is a public house dating to the mid-to-late 18th century, situated on the Marston Oxford Road in Old Marston. It is constructed of limestone rubble, with some areas rendered and colourwashed, and has timber lintels. The roof is tiled, with brick gable stacks marking its termination. The building is arranged in three units and is set at a right angle to the road. It has a three-window façade; two entrances are positioned between the windows. The ground-floor windows are casements, with a sash window containing six panes located centrally. A 20th-century casement window is present on the first floor. The rear of the building has three casements at ground floor and extends at a right angle to the front of The White Hart public house. The interior has not been inspected; the building is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
