Description
This is a row of six cottages located in Brightwell Baldwin, Upperton. They were built in 1801, as indicated by a datestone reading "W.L.S./1801." The cottages are constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern and have a hipped roof covered with old tiles. A brick ridge stack rises from the roof. Each cottage follows a two-unit plan. The row presents a 15-window facade and is two stories high. Segmental arches frame 19th and 20th-century plank doors. Late 19th-century two-light casement windows are also present. The interior of the cottages has not been inspected.
