Description

This chest tomb, dedicated to William Grantham, dates from around 1772 and is located approximately 5 meters west of the tower of the Church of St. Helen. It is made of stone and features a square plan in a Neoclassical style. Each face of the tomb has rectangular inscribed panels that are flanked by Ionic pilasters. These pilasters support a frieze adorned with sunflower triglyphs. The tomb is topped with a dentil cornice and has a shallow pyramidal roof that is finished with an urn.
