Description

Easington Manor is a house and cottage dating from the early 16th century, which was rebuilt in the late 18th century. The front is constructed of header bond brick with red brick dressings, while the rear wall is roughcast, except for the early 16th-century random bond brick at the rear right corner. The roof is gabled and covered with concrete tiles, featuring brick end stacks and an early 16th-century stone lateral stack finished in brick at the rear right. The building has a double-depth plan and is two storeys high.

The symmetrical three-window range on the left has gauged brick flat arches over a late 19th-century four-panelled door and tall sash windows. To the right, there is a bay with a similar arch over a sash window above a late 18th-century six-panelled door, which is set in a beaded architrave and has a flat hood, along with a segmental-arched tripartite sash. A red brick storey band runs across the front.

To the right of the main house is a late 18th-century brewhouse built with similar materials, featuring a brick end stack and a gauged brick flat arch over a sash window. The exposed early 16th-century walling at the rear right corner includes a pointed chamfered arch leading to an old plank door, and a two-storey square bay with a late 18th-century sash window, a label mould over a horizontal sliding sash, and a 16th-century one-light window with a stone chamfered surround.

Inside, there are late 18th-century fireplaces, a six-panelled door, and cornices. The cellar contains 16th-century chamfered beams. The house to the left has not been inspected.
