Description
This is a row of three houses located at 39 to 43 Lower Road in Chinnor, built in the early 18th century. The houses are constructed of plum brick with red brick dressings and feature an old plain-tile roof. There are brick stacks at both ends and a ridge stack in the center. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic and have a four-window range.
To the left of the center, there are two plank doors with segmental brick heads, and to the right of the center, there is another plank door with a flat brick arch. The windows to the left of the center are wood cross-windows, while a 20th-century metal casement window is located to the right. A flat brick band runs between the ground and first floors on the right side. The first floor has four cross-windows, and there are two gabled full dormers in the roof. The interior has not been inspected.
