Description

This granary, located approximately 25 meters southwest of Upperton Farmhouse, dates back to the 18th century. It is raised on staddle stones and features weatherboarding over a timber frame, topped with a half-hipped roof made of old tiles. The entrance consists of a plank door fitted with old strap hinges. Inside, the structure has braced posts and a two-bay collar-truss roof, which includes canted under-principals and clasped purlins. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
