Description
Manor House is a small barn that has been converted into a house, dating from the 16th century or possibly earlier. It is built from limestone rubble with squared dressings and some weatherboarding, topped with a plain-tile roof. The building has a three-bay plan, featuring opposed central openings that are flanked by shallow stepped buttresses. These openings have been infilled with 20th-century work, while the walls remain intact with slits in each bay, except for a small casement window that has been inserted at the rear. The gables are weatherboarded and also contain 20th-century openings. Inside, the roof structure is cased and its date is uncertain.
