Description
The Manor House is a manor house dating from the mid-18th century, with additions and alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with grey brick headers in a Flemish bond pattern, topped by an old plain-tile roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring a seven-window range.
A 20th-century glazed door is set within a stone porch supported by Doric columns to the left of the centre. To the left, there is a 20th-century bay window with sash windows, and a 12-pane horned sash window to the left of the centre. The centre features another 20th-century bay window with sashes, while to the right of the centre are two 12-pane horned sash windows and an angled bay with sashes. A flat brick band runs between the ground and first floors. The first floor has 12-pane sashes, except for tripartite sashes with glazing bars located to the left and right.
There are three pediment-gabled full dormers on the left side. Inside, there is a 20th-century open well staircase, and most of the fireplaces on the ground floor are likely 19th-century replacements. To the right of the main building, there is a single-storey wing made of red brick.
