Description
The Old Rectory is a rectory that has been converted into a house, built around 1822 by J.B. Rebbecca of London. It features painted brick construction and a slate hipped roof with lead ridges, along with various brick stacks. The building is designed in the Neo-Classical style and is two stories tall with a three-bay layout, where the central bay projects slightly. The entrance has a four-panel door at the center, flanked by single lights, all topped with a decorative segmental fanlight. The first floor has nine-pane unhorned sash windows on the center and left sides. At the rear, there is a two-story angled bay in the center, with regular fenestration of unhorned sashes that include glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest. To the left of the main building is a service wing, also made of painted brick, with an old plain-tile roof. This wing is two stories high with a single-window design and irregular fenestration of sash windows.
