Description

No. 50 High Street is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century. It features a rendered exterior on large timber framing and has an old plain-tile gabled roof with a gabled end facing the street. The building is two stories high and has a two-bay range that runs at right angles to the street. The street front consists of a two-story, single-window range, with a plank door on the left. There are 6-pane horned sash windows on the ground floor to the right and in the center of the first floor. Inside the gable end, there is a queen post roof truss. The right side of the house shows large timber framing with rendered infill. The interior has not been inspected.
