Description

The Forge is a house and former forge, likely built in the late 18th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It has a roughcast exterior, probably over brick, and features a plain-tile roof from the 20th century. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range. There is a 20th-century sash door located to the right of the center, and to the left, there are plank double-leaf doors leading to the forge. The windows on the ground floor include 4-pane horned sashes to the left of center and to the right, while the first floor has 20th-century two-light casements. The interior has not been inspected. The Forge is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
