Description

This is a two-story house dating to the 19th century, constructed in the Tudor style using ashlar. It features projecting two-story bay windows and a stone-slated roof. Above the bay windows are two gables, each containing a two-light stone-framed casement window. The windows in the bays have plain glass and are mullioned and transomed. A coat of arms, depicting Samuel Wilberforce, Bishop of Oxford from 1846 to 1869, is displayed above the north side doorway, presented within a Garter. The house is part of a group that includes numbers 31 to 46 and 49 to 56 on St Giles' Street.
