Description

The Bannester Memorial is a headstone located approximately 15 meters south of the Church of St. Nicholas in Old Marston. It dates from 1663 and is made of limestone. The small stone features a segmental-arched tread with scrolled ends, which contains the date. The inscription commemorates John Bannester.
