Description
No. 12 Ship Street is a house dating from the 17th century, featuring a narrow two-storey front added in the 18th century. The building has an overhang at the first floor, cellars, and a large gable under a hipped roof covered in Welsh slate. The ground floor includes a three-light casement window flanked by side pilasters. In the gable, there is an 18th to 19th century sash window, and the first floor has one sash window. Notably, the rubble north wall of the cellar aligns with the city wall. This property is part of a group that includes the Church of St Michael on Cornmarket Street and Nos 1 to 6 and 8 to 16 Ship Street.
