Description
The wall and gates of the Church of St Mary the Virgin, located on the north side of High Street, date from the late medieval period. The structure features a low stone wall with a plinth and conical capping. It is complemented by 17th or 18th century rusticated gatepiers topped with vase finials. The gates are made of wrought iron and date from the 18th century, complete with an overthrow. Additionally, there is a cast-iron pump situated at the south-west corner. All the listed buildings on the north side form a group.
