Description
No. 105 on High Street is a house with a 19th-century shop front, originally built in the 15th century and refronted in the 18th century. It is a four-storey structure made of stuccoed timber-framing, featuring cellars and a projecting moulded eaves cornice. The earlier house's two gables can be seen behind the front. The first floor has a large three-light sash window, while the second and third floors each contain two sash windows with glazing bars in moulded wood frames. Inside, there is early 18th-century panelling. The history of leases and tenants can be found in the Oxford History Society publication from 1926. All the listed buildings on the south side of the street are part of a group.
