Description
South Newington Mill House is an 18th-century mill house that consists of two sections. It is built from regularly coursed ironstone rubble and features Welsh slate roofs with stone stacks at both ends and along the ridge. The house has a five-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a six-window range.
On the left side, there is a garage, and the main entrance is an off-centre door on the right, flanked by two renewed casement windows. There is another door further to the right. The first floor includes two and three-light metal casements.
The right section features two three-light hooded mullioned and transomed windows, along with two similar windows on the first floor. There are also two gabled roof dormers. All windows are adorned with keystoned stone surrounds.
