Description
The Black Bull Public House is an early 18th-century public house constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring wooden lintels and some brickwork. It has a plain-tile roof with brick stacks. The building follows a two-unit lobby-entry plan and includes a rear wing. It stands two storeys high with a two-window front, which has a central doorway and tall casements in the outer bays on both floors. The gables are made of brick, and the roof has a gable stack on the left side and a central double stack. The lower rear wing extends to the left. Inside, there is a chamfered beam and a bressumer above a blocked fireplace.
