Description
Freeman House is a house that likely dates from the 17th century and was remodeled in the 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with wooden lintels and features an old plain-tile roof with brick stacks. The building has a four-unit plan and stands two storeys plus an attic high. The front has four windows, each with three-light casements on both floors, and the entrance is located between the third and fourth bays. The left gable wall includes a large stone chimney projection that is connected to a tiled oven projection, and both gables have attic casements. The roof features gable stacks and a central stack with two diagonal shafts that now rise from the raised roof. The house is noted as being dated 1697. The interior has not been inspected.
