Description
This building is a house located approximately 50 metres southeast of Withycombe Farm, dating from the 17th to 18th century, with a 20th-century extension to the right and rear. It is constructed from regularly coursed ironstone rubble and has a 20th-century tile roof. The house features two brick stacks on the ridge, with one at the right end. It has a three-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic. The entrance is an off-centre door to the left, which is a four-panelled door with one glazed panel, accompanied by a 20th-century porch. On either side of the porch are three-light stone mullioned windows. To the right, there is a two-light and a single casement window, both with lead cames and wooden lintels. The attic contains a single three-light casement window with lead cames. Above the door, there is a fire plaque. The right side of the house has a hipped roof. Inside, there is a stop-chamfered beam and a chamfered bressumer above the fireplace, and a re-set stone mullioned window is located in the rear porch extension.
