Description

The Barrett Memorial, located approximately 8 meters southeast of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary, is a chest tomb dating from around 1750. It is constructed from marlstone and limestone. The tomb is rectangular in shape, featuring a moulded base and cover, with square corner balusters and fielded inscription panels. The inscriptions commemorate John Barrett, who died in 1752, and Henry Barrett, who died in 1741. The top of the tomb is made of limestone.
