Description
Hall Farm Cottage is a house that has been divided into two dwellings. It dates back to the 17th century and has 20th-century extensions at both the front and rear. The building is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a 20th-century tile roof. There are two brick stacks at the ends, set on stone bases, with ironstone quoins and stone copings. The original layout consists of a two-unit plan with a single-unit extension on the right side. The main house is one and a half stories tall, with two 2-light stone mullioned windows on the ground floor flanking the 20th-century extension. The attic has three 2-light stone mullioned windows. The right extension includes a 2-light stone mullioned window on both the attic and ground floors, along with a 20th-century door. The side and rear elevations also feature 2-light stone mullioned windows, but none of the windows have hood moulds or stops. Some of the stonework in the mullions has been renewed. The interior has not been inspected.
