Description

Manor Cottage is a small house dating to the 17th century. It is located on Brill Road, Studley, and has a timber frame with brick and plaster infill, brick detailing, and a thatched roof with brick ridge stacks. The house originally comprised two units, with a later, secondary bay added. It has one storey and an attic. The front of the main range, which faces away from the road, features a doorway on the right side, two renewed casement windows, and two dormers. The half-hipped roof is punctuated by two central stacks. To the right is a lower timber-framed section with a half-hipped roof and plaster infill. The rear of both sections has been rebuilt in pink brick in a Flemish garden-wall bond with yellow headers. The interior has not been inspected.
