Description

Horn's Butchers Shop is a 17th-century house that now includes a butchers shop on the right side. It is constructed of coursed ironstone, featuring alternating bands of limestone and ironstone on the left gable end. The stone slate roof is laid in diminishing courses and has twin stone stacks set on a stone base with an over-sailing course. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys plus an attic. The ground floor has stone surrounds with an inserted three-light casement window that features a hood mould and label stops. To the left, there is a flat hood above a 20th-century door. The right side has a 20th-century shop front with a doorway under a flat canopy. The first floor has 20th-century windows. The interior has not been inspected.
