Description
Laburnum is a house dating from the late 17th century, with a datestone marked W/IE/1679 located above the door. The building is constructed from regularly coursed ironstone rubble and features a Welsh slate roof. It has two brick end stacks and a two-unit plan with a rear extension, standing two storeys plus an attic.
On the ground floor, there are two stone window frames that contain inserted three-light casements, complete with hood moulds and label stops. The first floor features two three-light iron casements with wooden lintels. The gable end facing Queens Street has a blocked two-light stone mullioned window, also with a hood mould. At the rear, there is a semi-circular staircase projection topped with a stone slate roof and a single-light stone window that includes an iron glazing bar. The interior has not been inspected.
