Description

The Thatch is a 17th-century house located on the south side of High Street, Hook Norton. It is constructed with alternating bands of coursed ironstone and limestone, featuring ironstone quoins and a thatched roof. The house has a two-unit plan and two storeys plus an attic. Most of the windows are 2-light casements with 20th-century wooden lintels. A 20th-century stone stack and a brick stack are present. The entrance is located at the rear of the property, accessible through a brick extension. The interior remains uninspected. The building is listed for its group value.
