Description

The churchyard cross, located approximately 12 metres north of the Church of St James, is a medieval structure made of marlstone and limestone. It features an octagonal limestone shaft that stands about 1.5 metres high, rising from a square base. This base is set on a square plinth with four steps, the lowest of which has a deep chamfered nosing. The head of the cross displays almost indecipherable carvings on all four faces, and the top corners of the base are adorned with carved heads.
